Class LaravelUi5\Sdk\Security\Models\Group

extends Model

Class Group

Represents a logical grouping of roles and abilities that can be assigned to an actor (typically a {@see \LaravelUi5\Sdk\Partners\Models\Partner}).

Groups serve as a tenant-maintainable abstraction layer over the static role and ability system. Unlike {@see Role} and {@see Ability}, which are declared in UI5 modules and synchronized via the SDK registry, groups are dynamic, configurable entities created and managed at runtime.

Key Concepts

  • code — the unique technical identifier for this group (e.g. project_controller)

Groups can be linked to both {@see Role} and {@see Ability} instances through the sdk_group_role and sdk_ability_group pivot tables.

This model is part of the runtime configuration layer:

  • There is no registry, no sync command, and no static definition.
  • Groups are expected to be maintained via UI or API within the tenant scope.
  • Illuminate\Database\Eloquent\Model
